A small village, situated on the top of
a rock, just over the sea, in the middle
of the beautifull greeness of the Conero
santuary. The village is characterized by
its peacefulness, and its charming city
center, with its old houses, all made from

An antique fishing village, and today
a quite popular holiday resort, thanks to

Numana offers a great number of bars and

GABICCE
MARE: : This village is located north
of Pesaro, and it is one of the biggest
bathing places along Marches riviera. The
nice, sandy beaches, the trees, the holiday
atmosphere and the numerous bars, restaurants,
discoteques ecc. is a perfect cocktail for
those who love the sun and the nightlife. |

SENIGALLIA:
The beach in Senigallia is called "The velvet
beach" because of its very fine sand. Since
the time og the Gauls, Senigallia has been
an important trade town, where many commercial
travellers exchanged their goods. |

PORTONOVO:
This very charming bay is a part of the
Monte Conero Santuary. Here there are arranged
hiking excursions, but the bay is mainly
an aim for people who enjoy the beautifull
clean water, the beach establishments and
the many restaurants by the sea. This is
surely a treasure which should not be missed
by those who love the sea, nature, art and
gastronomy. |

PORTO
RECANATI: Porto Recanati
is an important fishing center, and it is one
of the more turistic places along Marches riviera.
This is because of its very well kept beaches
and its main street, full of all kinds of shops,
especially concerning high fashion. |

PORTO
SAN GIORGIO: : In the middleages this
village was used as fortress, defending
the area against Turkish pirats. There after,
it started to work as an important harbour,
and became, then, a fishing center. The
villages economy is now adays based on tourism,
this thanks to its long sandy beach and
its shady beach promenade. |

SAN
BENEDETTO DEL TRONTO: : this town offers,
with its 2 km long beach, an ideal place for those
who love the sea. Along the beach ypu will find
a shady stone pine forrest, plenty of oleanders,
and many palm trees. Its because of these that
the town is often beeing talked of as "The palm
tree town". The beaches are well kept and soft
and sandy. Here is also beeing held a big fishing
market. |

GROTTAMMARE:
This village is situated very close to San Benedetto
del Tronto, on the top of a hill. It is a medieval
village, and here you will find the ruins of the
castle and the chrches from the 13th. century,
S. Lucia and S. Martino. Around S. Martino you
can still find the ruins of a roman tempel for
the godess Cupra. The village is also a popular
bathing place, thanks to its sandy beaches, its
beach promenade with palm trees and many flowers,
and a big number of tourist services. |

CUPRAMARITTIMA:
This is a small village by the sea, and like many
other villages in Le Marche, here ypu'll find
a middleage castle on the top of a hill. The castle
is called Cupra Alta. Apart from that you will
find a new area of the village, by the beach promenade.
In this area there is also a small stone pine
forrest, "La pineta dei Pignotti", and from here
you can enjoy the sight of the Adriatic sea. |
CIVITANOVA MARCHE: This is one of the
biggest bathing places in this area, the
beach promenade is always full of life,
thanks to its many restaurants and bars
along the sea. Apart from that,the town
is full of fashion and other sorts of shops,
and every Saturday is beeing held o gigantic
market in the citycenter. |

PORTO
SANT'ELPIDIO: This small village is situated
between the hills and the sea, and is visited
by many people, both because of its beaches, but
also because of big production of fashion shoes.
The village has been a part of Sant'Elpidio a
Mare untill 1952, and its original center is to
be found in the zone "Torre dell'Orologio", from
the 16th. century. |

TORRE
DI PALME: Today it is a part of Fermo,
this small, charming village on the top
of a mountain, by the sea. It has a wonderfull
panorama over the Adriatic sea, and the
country side. It was created, in the middleages,
as a fortress, to avoid attacks from pirats,
and the middleage munuments and historical
churches can still be enjoyed here.
